Biography

Chris is a fourth-generation Tampa resident and licensed Florida attorney with over 19 years of legal experience handling a variety of estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters for families and small business owners. In addition to serving local clients, he is also of counsel to a downtown Atlanta firm providing asset protection planning and trust administration services to out-of-state clients who are purchasing investment properties or establishing business interests in the State of Florida. Prior to becoming a sole practitioner, Chris worked as general counsel for a multinational bank drafting comprehensive estate and financial plans for high-net-worth individuals. He has also clerked for a prominent trusts and estates litigation firm in West Palm Beach and interned for a federal judge in the Middle District of Florida. Academically, Chris graduated with honors from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas and spent an additional year as a postgraduate in the University of Florida's LL.M tax program. He is married to his beautiful wife and fellow attorney, Amy, and enjoys being a stepdad to her two wonderful children. Last but certainly not least, Chris is a die-hard Gator fan with an affinity for SEC football, Tampa sports, and Texas-style barbecue.
